2 down…

and 3 more of this pattern to go. Hope you don’t get sick of seeing the same quilt, with different fabrics over and over… Some are for friends and some to sell!

These two are both now in the shop.

I hadn’t worked with strictly yellow and pink before… I kinda love it. I’m thinking I need to start exploring yellow more in general!

I worked with 50% Bamboo batting for the first time with these and I have to say, I love it! The drape is really lovely.

I love yellow quilting fabric too– but it’s really hard to find! I think yellow is probably the least popular quilting color (aside from maybe gray and navy?), and it’s a shame. Gorgeous quilting!

Really cute. I hope they do well in the shop. Happy sewing.

Gorgeous as always. I’ve only done a wee bit of quilting and used 50%/50% bamboo/cotton. I was in the shop yesterday to pick up backing for my hexagon quilt and decided to wait and ask you what kind you use. I’m overwhelmed with choice. Any suggestions for a lowloft batting that you love? Too many choices!

Yellow is growing on me as well. I’m partial to saturated ones! I love these quilts, but am excited for you big cut stack to run out. It’s always fun when you get to move to something new after doing the same for a bit.

Very nice finishes! I have worked with the bamboo batting on my longarm and I am impressed with the results. You are right when you say it has a nice drape.

I never get tired of seeing your quilts! And I’m glad you posted these because I’m making my husband a quilt with oranges and blues (and a bit of brown) and your second quilt proves those colors look good together! :)

I love the little bird in the top center of the pink and yellow quilt! It’s so sweet.

these are so sweet. care to share the block size and any other tidbits about them?!

I’m glad that you mentioned that about the bamboo. I’ve been wanting to try bamboo batting for a while but just haven’t — been — sure and your experience gives me the push I need to get over the edge. I think I’ll use bamboo in my next project and see how it goes! Inspiring, as usual!

I never get sick of looking at all my favorite fabrics in different combinations! I could look at that every day! You are making me want some of that yellow and grey fabric. I think grey is the new chocolate brown. We keep seeing grey and a color.

  18. wendy Says:

Ok, I just tried to find that yellow and grey fabric to add to my list, but I can’t find it! What is its name? I want to say farmers market, but it wasn’t. Thanks.
