Finally got started on a quilt for Gabe, made by me! The entire pregnancy went by and I didn’t sew a stitch of a quilt for him… but hopefully I’ll get this start finished up this week.
Oh design wall, where would I be without you? I don’t know how quilters work without one! They are so worth the wall space they take up…
Silly question, I know. But how did you create your particular design wall? And what are some alternatives if one is wall-deprived???

I use the floor since my space is only ever temporary. The carpet’s neutral enough for my purposes right now, I guess. Someday, when I have a dedicated sewing space, I definitely plan to have a design wall….
