A couple of Christmas gifts
Made these pillows for my sister – I’m thinking there are going to be loads of pillows in my future…
And the table runner & place mats for my mother in law. They were incredibly tough for me to get through as the fabrics aren’t my taste, but if you saw her dark green & red chicken themed kitchen you’d understand. It’s as though the fabric designer had been in her kitchen before coming up with this line.
Anyhow – now I’m driven to finish the charity quilt and this baby quilt before the new year so that my numbers for 2008 quilts will be two higher!
And then… who knows?!? My quilting future for 2009 is wide open! How exciting!

You always do such an amazing job – I love them all!
love the pillows. your mom in law’s gift turned out great too! good for you!
I love those pillows. I had made over ten (24 by 24) in log cabin style and turning twenty style. so easy except when I had to hand sew the edges after putting foam in.
Lovely pillows. And the runner and placemats turned out wonderful as well.
Equilter has a bit more Katie Jump Rope – even cheaper! Make sure that you have all that you need. LOL
Everything turned out great! I love the pillows and have an aunt who would go crazy over the Rooster themed place mats and table runner. LOL
Love the reds in the first pillow. Glad you had a good holiday.
good luck finishing the last two quilts under the wire. (I do that every year, too!)
loving your crafty site, totally comiserating on getting through projects that aren’t to my taste. I spent the whole day quilting a quilt yesterday that I would never ever put in my own home… Anyway- really enjoying your blog!
