It’s been awhile since I’ve finished a quilt that wasn’t on a deadline. It was nice. Some friends who are having a baby girl are getting this one!
This quilt confirmed for me that I am not as much of a fan of the washed crinkled look when the quilt isn’t stippled. Stippling leads to a nice even all over crinkle, but other quilting… not so much.
I’ve been trying to stretch myself and NOT stipple quilts… it’s hard for me! But there’s inspiration everywhere. I saw this photo shoot with Megan Fox recently. Do you think others are obsessively looking at the quilting too??

Fabulous quilting! That’s the hardest part of the quilt making process for me and I want to just give it up. But when I see such beautiful quilting as yours it makes me want to try again. Thanks for inspiring me!

Love the quilt and the quilting you did. The photo with Megan Fox is funny. Don’t ask any men what they are looking at. I’m sure they won’t say the quilting. Although that is the first thing my eye went to.
Your quilt is fabulous! The Megan Fox photo is different. I didn’t notice she was in there because I was looking at the quilting too. The light in this photo really seems to highlight it.
I vote you try to replicate it and let us know how it goes! Love your loopy quilting, though — very cute!
