A finished quilt top.
Been working on these blocks for a long time and they are finally all done and sashed in my usual white.
I’m excited to see this one come together. I’ll hopefully make real progress this weekend!
Recently got some of these Jay McCarroll birds. Don’t know why I hadn’t bought any before. They are so weird and I love them.
Have a great weekend everyone!

I’ve looked at Jay McCarroll birds and they didn’t do anything for me…until now, that is. Off to buy some of that fabric. Too cute!
this quilt is amazing!!! and love the fabrics you choose.
have a great weekend too!!
This is really adorable. And I love those birds too! I haven’t seen them before, but now I might have to hunt them down..
Your quilt top looks wonderful. The birdies are cute.
What a lovely quilt! Very cute fabrics – love the Jay McCarroll fabrics too, especially all the grey fabrics in the range. I love how you have used these fabrics.

You always find the cutest prints and then”frame” them in lust colors. Nice quilt.
The word is lush.
So pretty! I love your fabric choices
oooh! gorgeous! may i ask what color is that blue with the arcadia??
Thanks Erin! And unfortunately, I’ve got no idea! The blue was a fabric that was given to me when someone moved and gave me a lot of their fabric… so I don’t know where it comes from or what it’s called. Sorry!
Lovely! The white you’ve used in the sashing came out beautifully in your photos as well – it looks like thin rice paper in need of a glowing light behind it.
that is fun! i love those birds, too.
Awesome!
You create some AMAZING PIECES!!!!

Very pretty! I love those crazy birds too. (And have you seen the “Ivy League Bees”? They have monocles!)
Love the blocks! Jay Carrol birds are really funny…I keep seeing his stuff too and hadn’t picked any up before… might have to go get some sooner than later!
Gorgeous quilt and the little birds are adorable!
Really really cute! You have a wonderful sense of style and your color combos are always refreshing. Can’t wait to see it finished.
