I was proud to have quilts hanging in the QuiltCon show. One of them was Bias which I’ve posted about a couple of times while it was in progress.
The quilting on this is all straight line, echoing the piecing design. It took foreeeever, as this dense straight line quilting always does. Good thing there was a deadline to get it finished because it was hard to get it done!
I think that this quilt is a nice balance of clean, uncomplicated design, while also having interest. I’m really happy with it!

I loved this Quilt!! I can’t wait for 2015
great quilt Alissa! I loved getting to see it in person and I know what you mean about deadlines being motivating especially when it involves so much straight line quilting!
It’s amazing!! Did you quilt it on your Janome or a long arm?
Hi Rita! Quilted it on my Janome – straight lines like this would be super hard on a long arm!
Wow! That’s a lot of straight lines! Make for a really stunning quilt…… and what a treat is was to see it in person!!!
What a wonderful quilt!
I really like how this one turned out. All of that quilting was worth it. It was fun to see in person at QC
Amazing…simple and elegant!
