i love it ....especially the quilting and the back.

Is it a half hexagon style quilt? I did one earlier this year and am about to do a larger hexagon one in the half hexies.

great job, alissa. good for you for sticking with it! i LOVE that you put it up for a good price too...though you're probably paying yourself a dollar an hour or so.

I LOVE it! Looks so great! I did a quilt that fits just the top of a full sized bed (super sized throw basically) using a non uniform pebble stitch, and that took forever! I think I almost started crying when I stopped and realized just how little I'd finished every day LOL Even after I saw your posts about how long it takes, I still did it. Never again!! So I understand your pain! :)

Congrats on finishing the quilt. I just found your blog thru Urban patchwork. I watched your video on how you did the pebble quilting and could not believe you were able to do it without wearing some type of gripping gloves. I were gloves always when I machine quilt and it just helps you to move the fabric.

Excellent choice for the quilting pattern. I'm going to have to try pebbling. The stitching shows up so nicely on these simple blocks and especially on the backing. Good Job.

I love the finishing. I am planning on a grandmother quilt myself using the paper piecing and this will give me an idea of how it looks like. But I still have a long way to go to reach that stage.
