Block Party

Kristen and I started a virtual quilting bee called Block Party and I was lucky enough to “get” the first month.

This is the fabric that I sent:

I’m starting to get some blocks back and I’m LOVING seeing them all together!!! Can’t wait to see what all the other ones will be like!

    It’s always amazing to see what other people come up with when they are provided with fabrics of your choice. Generally something different from your own usual, sometimes resulting in interesting off shoots for your own processes. Good luck with the rest of the swap it looks interesting.

    It is always interesting to see what other people “see” in your favorite fabrics! It will truly be a unique creation once you are done with it!

    Wow, those are really wonderful squares. They really have a lot of life to them. They remind me a lot of Gee’s bend quilts. Beautiful!

    I really like the fabrics you chose for the block party can you tell me what fabric line they are?

      Hi Debbie! Sure – they are all from different lines. The seahorses are from Mendocino by Heather Ross, the orange with white is from Park Slope by Erin McMorris, the brown with flowers is from New Traditions by Michel Sparks, and the two solids are Kona cotton – Robin Egg and Chocolate.
