Lots of it in this quilt!

Blue

Plus a little gray and just a tiny bit of golden yellow. And I seem to be on a dense straight line quilting kick these days.

A friend from the LAMQG is adopting from Ethiopia and I made this quilt for Linus, her little baby boy!

    I really like this one. To me, it’s very fresh. I especially love those little striped scraps, and the orange ones, too!

    Love that quilt! The colors are wonderful and the quilting is lovely. I haven’t tried the dense line quilting yet, but I think you might have just pushed me over the edge on that one!

    It’s beautiful! I love the tilted blue blocks. And I love the solids surrounding the random blocks. What a wonderful gift to give. Are you going to enter that Project Modern challenge? I love the theme of being inspired by the word Organic.

    What a beautiful quilt! The straight line quilting is such a perfect contrast to those off kilter squares. It just seems so joyful! I’m sure your friend and her new son will love it.

    Oh Alissa, I love it so!!!! Will be sending you real pen and ink correspondence very soon, but I couldn’t resist shouting to the rafters how much I love, love, love it.
