Quilting Works in Progress with
Making big progress on my Habitat Challenge quilt!
I don’t know when I’m gonna move on from the straight line quilting… so in love with it these days!
I really like the solids you added to these fabrics!!
That little sneaky peeky looks gorgeous!
so pretty! straight line quilting rocks.
I was noticing in the picture that you are not using a walking foot to machine quilt your beautiful quilt. Is that correct? Your quilt is beautiful and I love the straight line quilting. I would like to try it for myself.
Hi Lori – I am using the equivalent… Janome has a “acufeed” system that involves attaching the dual feed foot and then pulling down feed dogs (that are attached to the machine). It’s not on all of their machines, but it’s on the Horizon and works really well!
I’m also in love with straight line quilting right now. I also think I love the quilt you are working on. Lovely.
Really love what you’re doing with this fabric. I have it too, but haven’t done anything with it yet. Also haven’t seen a lot of quilts I like using this fabric. I am loving the solids you added and your quilting so far – can’t wait to see it done!
Your straight line quilting is wonderful – no need to move away from something that works so well!
I know what you mean. I forced myself to do some free motion the other day so I didn’t get too out of practice.
I like straight line quilting too. It’s so simple and fresh ~ tho I have seen some quilts that are stunning with all the squiggles and circles ~ just not my things.
i love straight line quilting also! it makes my heart happy! i love this quilt. it is beautiful!~
Great work space!!!!! Lucky you!!!
