I don’t know when I’m gonna move on from the straight line quilting… so in love with it these days!

    I was noticing in the picture that you are not using a walking foot to machine quilt your beautiful quilt. Is that correct? Your quilt is beautiful and I love the straight line quilting. I would like to try it for myself.

      Hi Lori – I am using the equivalent… Janome has a “acufeed” system that involves attaching the dual feed foot and then pulling down feed dogs (that are attached to the machine). It’s not on all of their machines, but it’s on the Horizon and works really well!

    Really love what you’re doing with this fabric. I have it too, but haven’t done anything with it yet. Also haven’t seen a lot of quilts I like using this fabric. I am loving the solids you added and your quilting so far – can’t wait to see it done!

    I like straight line quilting too. It’s so simple and fresh ~ tho I have seen some quilts that are stunning with all the squiggles and circles ~ just not my things.
