On quilting big quilts on a little machine.

I’ve always encouraged people to quilt their big quilts in their little machines because it CAN be done. But I find it significantly easier to stipple a big quilt than straight line quilt it. Beginning, middle, and end.

Lots and lots of quilting going on around here. Have projects going at all stages! Beginning… …middle… …and end! Lots of things on the horizon… there’s a big announcement for The Modern Quilt Guild on Monday – be sure to check it out! And something completely different is coming along on the week of the [...]

Something new.

I have started on a few blocks for a new quilt. I’m making it for our bedroom. All these quilts, and I’m still yet to make us one for our bed! Not certain where I’m headed with them but so far so good!

Sewing?

Sewing! A little bit!  Loving my new work space and still so busy getting settled into the new house but soon I’ll be back into the usual swing of things.  See you more then!

Yellow Pop

I got this quilt top finished up! So simple and quick to make baby quilts! Happy weekend to you all!!

I always love when you first see the quilt in your head. For me it then gets quickly drawn and I pull loads of fabrics. Usually I instantly want to get started… … and make some progress! I’m auditioning this green as the background but I’m thinking it’s not right. We’ll see. Hope that you [...]

Pink Stacks

I finished up this simple and fun baby girl quilt top.  I’m calling it Pink Stacks! I took some (horrid) photos as I went so I thought I’d show you how I made it. I’m hesitant to call it a tutorial as there’s so much winging it involved and I didn’t keep track of my [...]

Hex progress

Actually going faster than I’d thought it would!  And oh the color! No lack of fun whimsical prints as centers either. Have decided I’m shooting for a baby quilt. We’ll see how it goes!

What to do
