Things have been going gangbusters over at the Los Angeles Modern Quilt Guild these days!
Last night we had our first meeting at our new home, Sew Modern.
Lauren, (seen here attending to some very important hosting duties!) who opened the shop has been an active guild member since the very start so we’re thrilled to have a new place to meet that is such a natural fit. And there’s just so much fabric there!
We had 63 (a record for us!) people at this meeting and it was a ball.
Hope to see more new faces at our March meeting!

Thanks for tharing the photos from your last meeting!
um… sharing.
looks like a great time!! i love that this is your new location b/c it’s so close to my brother’s place!! i’m so coming to a meeting on my next trip!
I used to live in a little house (the favorite house I ever owned!) just 4 blocks away on Selby…I could have walked to that great store and the fun meetings! Too bad I moved away!
Thanks for posting these pics, lady! I was thinking about you guys all last night, eagerly waiting to hear how it went! I can’t believe you had 63! And I can’t decide if I am sad or excited for all of you, I think I just mostly miss you– GOBS! THANK GOD I get to see some of you in a few weeks, or I think I might spiral into a very dark sad place! Must. Schedule. visits. around. meeting. dates! Thanks again for the little peek!
What a great space to meet (and shop!).
