What a cute mini quilt. I free motion quilted my first table runner tonight. It was more fun than I thought it would be.

Hi Jen,

My quilting is free motion on my machine. I don’t try to make it look like hand stitching – it just comes out the way it comes out! Ha! I use my darning foot with the feed dogs down. There’s a great conversation flickr here about it:

My biggest tip is practice practice practice! The more you do it the better you’ll get.

I love your quilts, they look like fun to make. Your quilting I believe you told us in one of your earlier blogs is machine made. How do you do it so it looks like hand stitching.
