It’s so tough to pick my current favorite quilt to feature in Amy’s online quilt festival (such a fun idea!) but I’m going to have to go with the Red & Aqua lap quilt. I love it – who doesn’t love the color combo??
I used white in both the sashing and the blocks in the quilt and I love the framing it creates for each and every fabric in the quilt.

This is beautiful! I love the unusual fabrics and the texture from the heavy quilting.
I like your idea of using the same color inside the blocks and for sashing. It does give it a very neat look!
Red and aqua are always winners in my book. Beautiful quilt.. all the fabrics are so different and yet they make sense together.
I really love how you used the solid color to frame the other fabrics and make them pop so nicely.
