A huge improvement.
Had a great sewing weekend. Also got my sewing room reorganized. It had gotten a bit out of hand… My fabric stash had… erm… out grown it’s storage…
Yes. I hang my head in messy stash shame.
But NOW…!
There’s even room to grow! Had to lose a small table to fit the new book shelves in, but it’s definitely worth it. And after I did all of that… I sewed!

Wow! I sure wish my stash (or room) was that organized!
Storage looks good and I saw lots of yummy fabrics! It’s always a good feeling to have things all cleaned, organized and ready to go!

i love ikea bookcases.. i have a similar one in my sewing room.. but mine is so not as organized right now! i do spot lots of things in your stash that i want to steal though!!

Over the weekend I swopped rooms for a new sewing space and got more storage so I know just how you feel! Everything’s so tidy and it just makes sewing that much better
congrats! that looks wonderful! would you be willing to tell us what solid colors you have that match so well with your projects? I’ve got the kona color card, and have to admit am a bit overwhelmed with the choices. LOL. I don’t have this much trouble picking out prints.

What is that scrumptious fabric on the top there that looks like it has trees on it? The grey on the bottom, then green ground and cream sky and then orange at treetop area? I think I’m in love! That is really spectacular!
Oh, what a fantasy these days. Still sewing out of the dining room with stash in the daughters’ room. One day we’ll finish the basement and I’ll even have a design wall!

Nice to see an organized sewing room. Mine’s a mess! Sorry I never thanked you for the link you emailed but I had surgery on the 19th and this is the first time I’ve been back online. Nothing wrong with me–I had a nip tuck! Had my eyes done and my chin. Vain, yes, but oh well, it’s all good in L.A.!!! Thanks, again. The movie was fun. Say hi to your sis for me! P.S. I’d love to see more of your sewing space. Your fabric storage is wonderful. I love how you can see the fabric but at the same time it’s tucked away in a bin.
