Just a glimpse!
First off, thanks so much for all of your comments and kindness about my Hexagon quilt top!! Makes me so happy to hear that others like what I’m up to!
My mom’s been in town and it’s not very sociable to sit in front of your sewing machine all day, is it? As a result I’ve only worked on it a bit more and am about half way through quilting it.
At first I wasn’t sure if I was improving or ruining my quilt top – but when you take a step back and look at the big picture, this “pebble” quilting is great. Hope to have more to show you in a couple of days!

I’ve been wanting to try pebble quilting so I can’t wait to see how yours turns out.
I love the idea of quilting patterns other than straight lines or stippling, but I’m too much of a wimp to try it out for myself…you’ve inspired me! can’t wait to see the completed project!
Nice! I’ve never heard of “pebble” quilting, but am definitely going to have to give it a try.

It’s so great to see you post this today, because I just tried pebble quilting for the first time on a mini quilt just this weekend … and I’ve been second guessing it ever since. I mean, I love it … but I am so worried that the recipient won’t (it’s for a swap). I’m going to keep checking to see if the recipient comments here …. : )
What a beautiful quilting style! I love the look of the pebbles
Awesome quilting! I’ve never seen such a thing… but I must try it soon!

nice job.
I love the quilting up front as well, can’t wait to see the finished quilt
I’m chicken to try machine quilting on my own. I usually send them out, but with the economy the way it is….well, I need to bite the bullet and try it myself. Also chicken to try stippling. Like what if I work myself in a corner, and it’s not like you can stop and think about things. Maybe I’ll try pebble quilting. It looks great!
I love this type of quilting! I”m not sure I have the patience though!
