I actually got a lot of sewing done this weekend but I am not allowing myself to show you another photo of the hexagons until it’s photos of the completed quilt. I finally finished the quilting and have the binding to go!
So for today, just a little house!
And yes. That is a dog in a teacup in the window.
It’s for John the host of Sew Connected 2 and what a great quilt this idea is going to lead to!

I just LOVE using khaki/tan… cut HR cut out for the window!
Utterly, utterly cute!!!
It’s beautiful! The dog in the cup is the best! I’m having the kool-aid too. It’s house block month! I’ve seen so many cute ones in my travels.
I love the little dog in a teacup detail. My guess is that this is going to be a tiny house quilt like the one that was shown on Flickr and innumerable blogs from the Birmingham quilt show – I want to do one of those too, but I’m sensing a trend coming…
Very cute. Can’t wait to see the finished hex quilt.
oooh! I love it!
tooooooo fun!
adorable with a dotted roof!
The little dog in the tea cup makes this house a true home. Wonderful!
That is about the cutest block in the history of time. I love that dog fabric so much, and the teacup dog is my fave. I should have bought a ton more when it was around!
totally cute – i just adore the teacup dog!
This post of yours inspired me to do a little experimenting yesterday — and I love it! This is a great idea (the little houses and trees), and will be perfect to use up scraps AND make something cute.
Your fabric is always just perfect too. One day I will build a stash of great fabric… one day.
I sooooo love this block, can’t wait to see his whole quilt completed I bet it will be amazing! I really want to try to make a block like that! SO FUN!
that is so. darn. cute!!!
Oh, I really want to do a house quilt. I don’t know why. It’s just so free-form and so, so cute!
