Monday morning.

My coffee is brewing so I’m taking the time to show you my latest finished quilt. The red & aqua is all done!

Red & Aqua Quilt

It’s much like my usual quilts – lots of white and wonky log cabins and as a result, I love it!

Red & Aqua Quilt - detail

One of my usual pieced backs:

Red & Aqua Quilt - back

I used some of the precious Paint by Number birds fabric. It’s too beautiful to hoard! It needs to be put in quilts.

It’s 40″ x 50″ and for sale in my shop!

I love this quilt! I would call it wonky square in square, but that is just me. What is the fabric that is at the center of second square on the top row? I really love that big red flower! Thanks for all the updates, I love seeing your work.

It’s beautiful! I have painted birds in pink and green. Wish I could find them in the other colors…Between you and Film in the Fridge, I am spending a fortune on hard-to-find fabric! But I’m sure happy when it arrives in the mail so it’s actually worth every penny. But if you have pointers for the two other colors of painted birds, I’d start the search for them…

lovely! I always love your red and aqua quilts…this one especially ( think the movement of the different size base squares *floating* in white in each block is what does it!)
