My first give away!!
Ok – so I didn’t sign up for Sew Mama Sew’s give away day, but when I woke up this morning and started to read all of my usual crafty blogs, I was wracked with guilt and a desire to be a part of it all! So I’m having a give away too!!
See all this fabric in this photo?!? I think that MAYBE there’s enough there to make you a mini quilt! Beans, my cat, agrees.

I think you may be green and redded out, so I’ll pick a third color for the combo – blue.

i love orange– with anything. i actually like a combination of colors that one normally wouldn’t think to put together.

Oh man…. you might be inspiring me to do the same thing today…. oy. But of course I have to put my hat in to try to win one of your beautiful quilts! I love the green/blue/pink combo of the apple fabric along with Amy Butler’s lotus (I think it’s lotus) pink flowers! Oooh so cute.
I love all the blues, greens, and teal type colors.
Right now I’m loving turquoise and red together … my best friend just made a gorgeous quilt with these colors and it looks wonderful!
I love aqua and red as a combo, but seriously, I like any of the fabrics pictured here and wouldn’t complain about any of them in my quilt…

I like pretty much everything except for excessive amounts of green… And Beans reminds me a bit of one of my cats (you can see what I mean here: http://dlphn.blogspot.com/2008/09/sewvester.html) – maybe a little obnoxious at times, but so darn cute he’s forgiven instantly!
Right now it happens to be pink. But, as I’m sure you know, color combo favorites change all the time. Even in a single day they can change multiple times.

Oh, how nice of you! I’m really loving the saffron piece that’s sticking out of the middle of the box. I would love a quilt with that, and I think it would look good with a number of other colors. Blue, or pink…whatever you advise.

My favorite color combo is turquoisey blue and red. Denise Schmidt had the perfect fabric in Flea Market Fancy that sold out like hotcakes before I was able to ever purchase any! That fabric is a good example of the colors I love!

I think you should let Beans pick out his/her favorite fabrics – then make the quilt and have a give away!! I LOVE fabric and any color/print combo is good made into a quilt. What a good idea it is to put quilt blocks on the back too. I also like how you quilted a pattern on the back so the quilt can be folded down on the bed and show more quilting. I might have to try that on a quilt….
