My first give away!!

Ok – so I didn’t sign up for Sew Mama Sew’s give away day, but when I woke up this morning and started to read all of my usual crafty blogs, I was wracked with guilt and a desire to be a part of it all! So I’m having a give away too!!

See all this fabric in this photo?!? I think that MAYBE there’s enough there to make you a mini quilt! Beans, my cat, agrees.

Give away

Just leave me a comment with your favorite color combination and one lucky winner will get a mini quilt made by me in those colors. Good luck!

Quick edit: Clearly I’m new to this and forgot to mention how long it will last. Let’s say 12:00 PM (pacific time) on Friday the 5th!

Cami sent me. Blues and greens or pinks and browns. Ooh, or aqua and brown. Honestly, whatever you’ve got.

  2. MamaChanga December 3, 2008 at 4:11 pm #

I love the combination of pink and brown, or pink and greens. Whatever color combination would be nice if I won however!

    Hugs & Blessings!

  4. Whitney December 3, 2008 at 4:31 pm #

My sister, Ashley, is a huge fan of your blog and recommended I sign up for your giveaway…that is, since I’ve begged her to make me a quilt and she’s tired of hearing me ask, she thought that maybe if I won yours, pressure would be off. Greens and blues together are typically my favorite. Thanks!

  5. Audrey December 3, 2008 at 5:19 pm #

I love red and turquoise and blues and greens, and pinks and browns. You could decide! Thanks for having the giveaway!

how generous you are and how greedy am i . my budget has said “nay” to all of these phenomenally cool new fabrics but i drool ceaselessly. my only complaint is that you’re featuring a fabric with dirty orange/rust in it .

i’m a big lover of greens, blues, black and white and gray. but i think my stash is rather stale so go ahead and throw your bonanza at me and i promise i won’t duck .

cheers and blessings of the season on you…

I love deep brown with lots of things, but especially green

  19. deb December 3, 2008 at 11:32 pm #

I would love to win a scrappy quilt. I love so many color combos that it’s hard to limit myself to one. But I see that snippet of apple fabric in your stash–the one with the aqua background with the green, pink and brown apples–and I think it would make a lovely color combo for a quilt.

I just loooove pink but I recently discovered the charm of other colours, like chocolate brown…
Anything without green would delight me actually!

This is very generous of you and I’d love to put my hat in the ring. My favorites are red/orange/pink.

  33. adina December 4, 2008 at 12:56 pm #

  34. Jane December 4, 2008 at 1:05 pm #

    Wow! Very generous indeed!
My favorite color combo is turquoisey blue and red. Denise Schmidt had the perfect fabric in Flea Market Fancy that sold out like hotcakes before I was able to ever purchase any! That fabric is a good example of the colors I love!
I enjoy your blog very much and have linked it to my blog!

Oh my — I love blues and greens, purples… thanks so much for the fantabulous giveaway!!!

  38. Tammy V. December 4, 2008 at 3:14 pm #

I think you should let Beans pick out his/her favorite fabrics – then make the quilt and have a give away!! I LOVE fabric and any color/print combo is good made into a quilt. What a good idea it is to put quilt blocks on the back too. I also like how you quilted a pattern on the back so the quilt can be folded down on the bed and show more quilting. I might have to try that on a quilt….
    Love all your quilts!!

  39. Amy December 4, 2008 at 4:20 pm #

Oooo! I love fall colors- anything with oranges, reds, yellows, and hints of green. :) I’m so excited to see what you come up with, regardless of whether or not I win!

  40. jacquie December 4, 2008 at 4:32 pm #

oooh lovely! how about blue and green, of course orange and pink is nice, but then again, i’m a sucker for red and aqua…hmmmm. maybe i should let you decide!

  41. Lauriewis December 4, 2008 at 4:43 pm #

So lovely. I think may have just drooled (just a little bit) on my key board. I’m an aqua and chartreus green kind of gal. What a sweet, sweet giveaway!

  42. Abby December 4, 2008 at 7:52 pm #

I’m a sucker for blue and white. Does white count? If not, lets go brown!

  43. Alana December 4, 2008 at 9:39 pm #

I think someone might love their pinks as much as I do! I would love to own yet more stuff in pink!

  44. ofebers December 4, 2008 at 9:42 pm #
