Looks so promising! I love to make baby quilts
Love those fabrics together! Baby quilts are part of my recovery process after working on a large quilt hehe
What fabric is near the bottom — it looks cartoony? I’d love to know. Thanks.
Hi Ellen,
A few different ones stacked in there. The Alexander Henry owls, Alexander Henry elephants and the Heather Ross Far, Far, Away frogs. Cute stuff!
looks a GOOD start!
Can’t go wrong with that sherbety colour combo!
What a great start on the new year. Wonderful fabric and colors!
Great group! I see Jay’s tree cookies with ants in there that i’ve been wanting, also some Red Letter Day, Alexander Henry owls, mingle (using some myself right now),Butler full moon dots, and Far Far away on the bottom. Good job! Check out the cute Japanese prints i’m blogging right now.
Love the fabrics that you have picked so far!
ooh! looks like its gonna be pretty
That looks delicious! Reminds me of summer and citrus popsicles!
Beautiful fabrics. I love baby quilts that don’t look to baby-ish.
that is some citrusy goodness!
I love your colour choices … so fresh and clean.
Looking very lovely! I like the colors you are putting together…
Do you have a favorite batting for your quilts, Alissa? I am trying to broaden my selection of batting…
great colors!
I’m with you on that!! I decided I need to do some baby size too, just to remind me why I love to sew…..Xmas present sewing made me grumpy and forced me to take a few weeks off!
nice choice of fabrics to start with! yay to 2010!
Love your fabric selections for the quilt! Smaller baby quilts are such a nice relief from the big bed kind. I just finished one of those myself.
Beautiful fabrics!! What size do you make your baby quilts??
Oo-la-la! As my 3-year old would say “I need that fabric!” Love your color choices. Good oranges are hard to find and green is my favorite color! Post lots of pics when you’re done!
Jennifer
Here, here! I’m a little tired of wrestling monsters, too. I plan on making at least 4 baby quilts and I joined Dollies Online, so at least one dolly quilt each month. I’m also going to do some wall hangings.
