Some bee blocks for Liz.
And Beans overseeing things.
Hope you all had a great weekend! I spent mine in the sewing room, how about you?

i also spent mine in my sewing room… and it was fabulous. i did a slew of things including starting to catch up on bee blocks… i’m months behind! yours is on the to-do list for this week.
I WISH I spent mine in the sewing room! Love those blocks!
I spent Sunday in the sewing room and then migrated to the comfy chairto finish up a binding on a Fall quilt…lol. Well we’ll enjoy it for 10 days before Christmas starts to sneak in! Love those solids!
Oh I wish… Missed guild and only got a bit of sewing done. But lots of cooking and cuddles. Can’t complain. (Love the top right block!)
I spent some time in my sewing room too. I love those blocks. So fresh and modern. Great job.
LOVE those blocks! Must do a quilt in those colors! And I got very little sewing done this weekend.
i spent my weekend saying goodbye to melissa. friday, i watched her girls so they wouldn’t be in the way of the movers, saturday, we had a going away party for them, and last night, we had them over for dinner. my husband took them to the airport this morning, and now they’re gone!
it sucks!
oh, but i’m glad you were able to spend it in your sewing room!
I wish I did… I had three boys and no husband… I spent it chained to a rugby pitch and then a washing machine… sigh.
Love the bottom photo. So cool.
Nice block…i love the way u put the colours together. My weekend went on playing & chatting with the kids, quilting for a friend and little baking!
oooooo! Where is that owl from??? I have to know!
Loving these plains. You make such great stuff.
I was lucky enough to spend the entire weekend in the craft room (or dining room if you’re my husband). I finished an entire quilt top that I have had the fabric precut for almost 2 years now (fail). Your color blocks look great, but I am entirely infatuated with your owl. They are my favorite animal on earth and yours is ADORABLE!
Thanks Lauren!
I was super lucky and got the owl in a swap the LAMQG did. He’s made from a “Melly and Me” pattern, called Hooty and Tweet.

pretty kitty
I have been following your blog ever since I found your quilts in a Google Image search over a year ago. I love your work and have totally been inspired by your blog and others that I have found through your site. I also love Project Runway and was watching the video clip of how Ping got on the show, and the person who told her she made it was YOU??!! I totally did a double-take! I had no idea you were a part of my favorite show – one more reason to blog-stalk you! You are so very cool, indeed.
My heart just stopped when I saw the pic of your cat. She/He looks exactly like my cherished childhood kitty! I hope your baby is as sweet and feisty as Calicoon was
Beautiful quilt…but what got my attention is the color of your kitchen. I just painted mine this summer that same color…and the cabinets are white like yours! It’s a fun combination!
