Spring!

Here in Southern California, there are no weather complains, but it’s officially now spring. That, combined with the fact that I HAD to take a break from the baby quilts lead me to a couple of bright vibrant pillow sleeves!

These are quick and fun to whip up. Remember how I mentioned I needed to explore yellow a bit more? In doing so, I’ve come to realize that I really don’t have that many yellow fabrics. Will have to remedy that with time!

Nice envelope openings so that these are easy to toss in the washing machine!

Both are in the shop!

Those are both great! It’s funny because a quilted pillow cover is on my list of things to do – now that I’ve seen yours I’m going to have to move it up the list! They are perfectly spring-y!

I love these!!! Sometimes its really fun to think small. I love creating just one block and not always focusing on what I’m going to use it for or how it would fit into a larger quilt. Perfection in a pillowcase…very nice Alissa.

Oh wow! My sister-in-law just sent me a good-sized remnant of the fabric with the yellow-pink-brown-and-green birds and now I see how lovely it can look in the right setting! Beautiful work, as usual.

Very pretty and colorful! I recently did the same thing – to try and add some color to my house – but you are more industrious than I was – I didn’t quilt the BACK of the pillowcases! Beautiful.
