pretty, pretty pretty! i’m going to concentrate on a few bed sized quilts in the next month. you’re right…take a lot longer, but they’re so great to have.

yes it takes a while.. but it’ll be so worth it! as for the design wall i know what you mean… mine is 5×5 and often i keep making things that extend past it!

It’s fantastic – I’ve never made a hexagon quilt but I think you’ve inspired me to try. Did you use a particular pattern for making them?

this quilt looks great! i know what you mean about bigger quilts taking more time. i’ve made a lot of twin size quilts this year…and it’s amazing how 3 extra inches on one side and an extra 12″ on the bottom makes it take that much longer to finish. i need to get into a baby quilt groove. badly.

I use my new fence as design wall when the weather is good. I just tack a sheet to it or hang it over the top. Not sure what I’ll do when the snow comes…
