I was lucky enough to be asked to make a quilt for this great book awhile back…
It’s filled with wonderful quilts made by Elizabeth Hartman, Jacquie Gering, Kajsa Wikman, Malka Dubrawsky, Cherri House, Kathy Mack, Week Ringle & Bill Kerr, Valori Wells, Emily Cier, Lisa Call, Betz White, Amy Ellis, Jean Wells, Rita Hodge and Jennifer Sampou. Along with an interview with Denyse Schmidt. I’m pretty thrilled to be in such amazing company!
This is the one I made… had I know what the title of the book would be I might have used more, um, color but oh well! Ha.
So, who wants a copy?? Comment here and I’ll pick a winner on Monday!!
And in other news, I though I’d post a photo of just how pregnant I am these days.
Hence the major slow down in quilting! The job I’m working right now doesn’t help either… that will end soon, but then the lil’ guy comes so I guess it’s good I’m getting used to not having as much sewing time, huh??

Ooh, I do! I do! I’m loving the large-scale solid piecing these days.
I love the solids in these quilts!
i do, i do!
I would love a copy!! Thank you!!

I would love to check the book out.
Cheers.
i really like your quilt. i think it’s nice to have variety in a compilation book and your quilt still fits the theme.
Thanks for a chance!
thanks for the give away… would love to win a copy of this book!
Oooh, I would LOVE a copy! You look great, BTW, and thanks!
Ok, my comment will be that actually for the first 4 months after baby arrives you will have time for quilting because all they really do is sleep, take nourishment in one end and get rid of it the other end. After that, I’m afraid it’s pretty much down-hill in terms of oodles of quilting time;-)
Oh, yes please, would love to win a copy of the book!
You look adorable! I’d love to win a copy of the book.
Love the modern design of your quilt and I’d love to win a copy of the book. And you look gorgeous!
New babies are so so precious. Relax and enjoy those wonderful days with a new little life. They go by too too quickly. My baby is graduating from college in two days. Getting into solids after years of big scale prints. The prints will always grab my heart but the solids are beginning to stack up in my stash. ; ) Looks like a great book. Thanks for the chance to win.
You look gorgeous!

Awesome book. You will have plenty of time to sew for the first year or so . . . he’ll sleep a lot and you’ll be stuck at home
It’s when they hit about 18 months that they’re pulling on your arm while you’re trying to sew. Congrats on the book and the baby!

I like your use of grey and gold to create the “plaid look”. Great job!
Love your quilt — it doesn’t need more color! You look great, too. It looks like we might be due within a short time of each other, but I’m quite a house right now, and feeling so draggy. And when I try to sew, my foot swells up like a balloon, argh.
